It's time to do playthrough of one the most fun racing game i've had played since it launch on PC, Driver San Francisco. This is the only one i played other than parallel lines which is not my cup of tea especially when it involved shooting because i'm not into that stuff.

The reason i call it unique because it had shift mechanics where you can move on to vehicles that is on the map without involved buying new ones, though you can do it if the cars you want to drive is not in it. I had the most fun with this mechanics where i used it to crash the cars intentionally and taking it down head-on. The PC Version suffers from missing effects compare to console version up until with the mod came out to restore it.

I mod this game to make it the most fun and improve things from original, here's a list that i installed:

- Felony Rework by @Olanov(it is one of the best mods on this game that improves police system and more, it is harder than what i've used to play, so i've had to do it differently): https://www.moddb.com/games/driver-san-francisco/downloads/felony-rework

- Cinematic Race Intros: https://www.moddb.com/games/driver-san-francisco/downloads/cinematic-race-intros

- Restored Final Cutscene: https://www.moddb.com/games/driver-san-francisco/downloads/final-cutscene-restoration

- Post-Process Restoration: https://www.nexusmods.com/driversanfrancisco/mods/6 (Account is required to download)

NOTE: Before installing any mod, make sure you copy version.dll, imgui.ini and plugins folder from his felony rework mod and after that install some of the mod above recommended in order by copying all of the files except dinput8, version.dll and plugins folder on some of the mods that included it

Specs:

OS: Fedora 39 KDE x86_64
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 4500
GPU: Powercolor RX 6600
RAM: 2x8GB GeIL Evo Potenza 2666mhz
DXVK: 2.3
WINE: wine-ge-8-26-x86_64
Lutris: 0.5.16
ESync and FSync: ON

NOTE: The reason i'm playing on this system is because windows had issue when used any of the wrapper(either dgvoodoo and dxvk in which in that was the worst case scenario) and causes DriverNG hook that a lot of these mods relies on to popping up error message when launch
