Dude plays Lost Vikings World 1: Croutonian Spaceship!
1Well hey, hey there folks and fellow Youtubers and welcome to a brand new series of walkthrough videos for the SNES version of Lost Vikings played on the PC as a part of the Blizzard Arcade collection that I promised to do a couple of days to a week ago and wallah here it is alright and in today's video, we will be doing World: The Croutonian Spaceship as you can tell by both the title and the thumbnail of this video here.
Now how three medieval Vikings got on an alien spaceship is well the Croutonians the alien race that captured them has been wanting to use our three main heroes as zoo animals along with other creatures they have abducted no doubt, not only that the evil ruler of the Croutonians named Tomator is collecting unique lifeforms not just from Earth but other planets as well to display in his gallery, which I am guessing is more or less an alien-zoo so it's pretty much the same thing. So in order to escape this alien spaceship, we will need to first use an explosive to destroy a computer console as well as to deactivate myriad switches usually by using Baleog The Fierce to disarm them by aiming and firing his arrows at them, Baleog The Fierce is also clearly the most combat-based of all of our three Viking Protagonists in the game as well as he can not only fire arrows but also use swords to dispatch enemies with as well while Erik The Swift the redheaded dude can do some combat as well he mostly just runs and uses his hard head to smash apart barriers of which we otherwise could not get past, but he can also do this to fight enemies as well but I do almost exclusively use Baleog The Fierce for fighting enemies with as you can do it more easily without getting hurt or worse getting dispatched yourself. While gentle-giant Olaf The Stout we tend to use either for defensive purposes such as using his shield to block lasers or other projectiles or even bites from more feral, animalistic and primitive enemies or Erik The Swift can also use Olaf's shield to jump on top of and get to otherwise inaccessible areas this way as only Erik The Swift can jump. Now, something I want to mention before I end the description for this video folks is you can also use Olaf The Stout's shield to land gently and slowly so that way you can't take damage while falling should use not be able to find an elevator anywhere in a level or world of the game.
