Doom 3 Machinery Ambience!
10Wel; hey, hey there guys it's Nuclear-Skull87 and in at least one of today's video I will be doing another ambient video of Doom 3 this time showcasing ambiance from Alpha Labs Sector 1's EPD Particle Filter and it is very ambient, to say the least with its sounds of machinery as this part of the base like the rest of it begins to slowly but surely start to malfunction and erode at the seams this especially does not help as we have the whole entire space-station infested with demons as well as demonically-possessed zombies of former humans both Security-Forces, space-marines as well as Maintenance workers all of which we're just once normal humans obviously before they became the undead, demonically possessed creatures we now seem them as in the game.
Anyhow, this is also the part of the game where we also get fairly close to the cutscene where we see the corpse on the ceiling with his chest and stomach split open revealing his hideous and disgusting innards as this is the very cinematic sequence where we get introduced to a new enemy called simply a maggot one of the more disturbing creatures in Doom 3 no doubt as this overall is the very level in which they are introduced obviously. It's also in this room we see the demonic and fleshy growths again after the last level UAC Administration as they are obviously connected to that monster now on the ceiling of this level. Another freaky horror aspect of this level is also the lighting of flickering lights in the background as we seem to know that Doom 3 (more or less) at least seemed to popularize this Scifi horror trope in videogames.
