- Analysis:
• Diao Chan's offenses have been vastly improved from her previous setup. She not only now deals more damage but is more flexible as well. With Fury as a new addition to her Musou weapon setup, not even double Defense officers super officers can pose much of a threat to her Musou 2 offense anymore. The added Cyclone on her Weapon 2 for C6 makes sure that Diao Chan's offense won't take a drastic dip when presented with a no crowd situation. With her new offensive setup and her ability to refill comfortably, Diao Chan has definitely made a significant improvement.
- Movesets:
• Musou 2 is the Musou Diao Chan will mostly use. Musou 2 is really good at stunning officers (6:49, 11:49, 13:33), deals incredible damage (11:28 overkill on super Lei Tong, 12:37 ~75% on double Defense super Huang Zhong, 13:29 OHKO on super Zhou Yu), and refills her Rage extremely well. While Musou 2 deals the best damage in a crowd, it should avoid grabbing too much peons. Grabbing too much often results in officers being flung out or less hit counts on the officer. For Diao Chan, attack baiting while guarding is the best way to unblock enemies because this Musou stuns so well.
• C2-EX is her crowd clearing and kill refill charge attack. Her C2-EX also does a very good job ignoring shield peons, allowing her to still net proper KOs even with their presence. The radius in which this EX hits is extremely generous, usually resulting in a chunky refills (3:22 with Roar, same applies to Triumph weapon). Make sure she uses the Roar weapon for Musou filling and Triumph weapon for Rage filling since they are on different weapons.
• C4-EX contains an element activation and a buff for ~50% more damage, Attack Speed and Movement Speed. While the buff duration is short, it is all the time Diao Chan needs to take advantage of it with her Musou 2, enough to OHKO super playable officers in late stages (13:29).
• C6 contains double element activation (10:18). C6 is meant to be taken advantage with her Cyclone weapon against crowd-less super officers. With a bit of Flurry, sneaking behind a regular officer with a preceded S5 into a C6 is enough physical damage to KO them.
- Option(s):
• With the additional +10 Attack on her Unique Weapons through Gems, Musou 2 can rip through double Defense super playable officers. With C4-EX buff Musou 2 + C6 double Cyclone, this combination is enough to take on double Defense super playable officers in late game stages. True Rage Musou is not as necessary anymore; however, it still serves as an option to take on a extreme officer pileup, notably in DLC stages.
