Finally out in the real world. I'm surprisingly really enjoying this game. The world seems to be well-crafted and even though many of the quests are of the fetch quest / kill task variety, they are still grounded sufficiently in lore to make sense.

I'm ambivalent towards LOTR's lore, but much like many of the Star Wars games (i.e. SWG, Dark Forces through Jedi Academy, KOTOR 1 & 2, etc), the worlds are constructed in a way that is interesting.

Later game content apparently requires either a subscription or using in-game / real currency. When we get to that point, I will do a review on the game leading up to that point.
