Destiny 2 Lightfall came out and with it came a bunch of scrambled responses and criticisms. The story is awful, the campaign is fun, Neomuna is amazing, Neomuna is empty. Season of Defiance is great, guardian ranks are.. weird, the new quests and weapons are sick, the addition of only one strike is.. lame. Strand is wicked, Root of Nightmares is.. Fine. The issue is that its so middle-ground that whatever they do right is balanced by something they do extremely wrong, and in a community so focused on exacerbating the bad for the sake of doing so, or because some streamer or YouTube person told them to idk, the game falls victim to lots of unwarranted hate. Lightfall isn't bad, it's just not good. Lightfall is fun, it's just not polished.
