FFVII Remake NEWS | New Summon, Open World, Materia System, Limit Breaks And Red XIII Rumours
We have received two massive potential leaks for Final Fantasy VII remake, originating from a video game journalist and the El Segundo Square-Enix publishing and localisation branch. Among its two-game release and new character designs discussed in my previous video, they've also revealed huge new leaks regarding the game being open world, having an over-world, how Midgar, Junon, Cosmo Canyon and the Gold Saucer will be, in addition to the inclusion of a brand new summon, and how summons, heavy attacks, limit breaks, materia and character switching work. Here’s a detailed overview and discussion of all the leaked information pertaining to these gameplay-related elements. Let me know your thoughts on anything discussed! Enjoy and stay spot on! :)
UPDATE: After the release of this video, one of the two potential leak sources discussed (El Segundo Square-Enix employee leak) recently revealed online that it is false. The journalist leak has currently not received any updated information about its validity, to my knowledge. Regardless, the former made for a great discussion and ideas of potential possibilities about the latter still has me excited for more :)
