12Technical demonstration: "HandHeld Camera"

This represents a fairly rough technical exploration of how various calculations and random integers can be used to create a more realistic sense of presence. We've endeavored to create a complex scene comprised of one continuous shot - essentially a hand held camera effect. The challenge was doing so without compromising the ability of the user to change the scene upon navigating the menus. As such, pre-scripted sequence data could not be used.
The result is this ‘handicam’ effect, which allows the theme camera to bob and weave randomly, while interpolating between values and generating tangents on the fly with the user navigates between the content and function screens.
