We are happy to provide a first glimpse at Retro-inspired synthwave project, which has been in the works for a while. With this theme, we hope to achieve a more compelling degree of interactivity and fidelity.

This theme features 5 interactive environments, with elements that are adaptively timed to music (several elements beat at various BPM, to allow them to mesh with music at different tempos). At present scene selection is random, punctuated by VCR tracking and OCD effects (I really love those).
3 more environments are complete but not shown, and will be added to a separate theme.

At this time, we are looking for suggestions as to what style of synthwave music to utilize / compose (intense vs ambient). Additionally, it is also our goal for people to allow people to utilize this theme as a “visualizer” of sorts for their own music and Spotify tracks. The background audio can be disabled, and your own music played back to the overlaid visuals.
