How Good Do Old Games Look & Run On Steam Deck & ROG Ally (RE Revelations 2 & Fallout 3)
In this video I try to showcase a great strength of the latest generation of hand-held gaming PCs and that's how they make older games look better and run smoother than they probably did when they were first released.
This better performance by older games when played on the Ausus ROG Ally or Valves Steam Deck is mainly down to a couple of points - the CPU / GPU / APU's in these hand-held devices are probably more powerful than what you had when these games were released, and the smaller, yet brilliantly bright and sharp screens simply make the graphics and textures look better than when running on a monitor or TV.
The two PC games I use as examples are Fallout 3 from 2008 and Resident Evil Revelations 2 from 2015.
Thanks, Rob.
