Summary

Get your 5* gear to Epic Refinement

Use Grey Scrolls to upgrade the grade from Magic to Unique, then use Red Premium Scrolls to upgrade the grade from unique to legendary, then to EPIC.

Early Game:
ShoesHelmet/Chest - Get 30% Critical Resistance, Rest of the lines can go into an equal split of HP/DEF.
Gloves - Anything is fine as long as it's something useful such as Boss Damage, Crit Damage, Crit Rate, Active Skill Damage, HP
Ring - 2-3 lines of Cooldown Reduction
Weapons - For most characters, the ideal stat is 3 lines of ATK% and 3 lines of Cooldown Reduction,
otherwise go for something like 4 lines of Cooldown Reduction and 2 lines of ATK%
For characters who don't critically need CDR such as Efreet, Mia, and Yui, go for maximum ATK%

Mid Game to Late Game:
Everything is more or less the same. You will need 50% Crit Resistance for Raid

Late to End Game:
Once your characters are highly transcended or rebirthed, I like to have more lines of HP than DEF. This helps me last slightly longer in Raid as Defense has diminishing returns as you get more.

End Game (Top minority of players):
The meta might be shifting back towards having more DEF. This helps with characters who use shields such as Ymir and Vivian. In end game raid, the boss does so much damage that extra health doesn't help as much. This is for like 50B+ damage runs, but depends on the specific Raid. We'll have to see how Season 4 of Raid pans out.
