Cassander peered out from the capital's palace, looking out towards the sea that encircled the homes of all the Greeks that did not follow Alexander on his journey to the end of the world. It has been eighteen years since the Great King's death, and he has felt no guilt over this. His mind has been stuck on other matters: Macedon and its fleeting hegemon over all of Greece. Antigonus had sent his son to Greece in order to "liberate" the many cities within the region, and much of the south has allied with them. To Cassander, the loss in the previous war was a temporary one. He could feel the winds of change come along with much pain and discomfort. He had little time to live, and if his eldest son Philip was to perish soon after him, then the two younger sons shall surely squabble over the throne and the Antipatrid dynasty shall forever be damned to never hold the throne of Macedon ever again.
