INT Goku Black got a recent buff and (thanks to my Twitch chat), we're testing him out and seeing just how effective Goku Black can be under the 200% leader skill! He's well known for being a terrible unit, but is he as bad as people think? Well, let's look at him with a critical eye in this Dokkan Battle showcase!

Goku Black was one of the first units to infinitely stack defense. However, the problem is that he doesn't start with a high defense stat. Because of that, it takes longer to stack enough to have good enough defense to tank most events. A lot of current day events will take you out before you have a chance to stack Goku Black enough, so it can be a pretty big issue.

He also has a terrible transformation condition, but that's beside the point.

Now that he's got a nice boost with the new LRs, is INT Goku Black bad? YES! But is he as bad as I remembered he was? No. He's actually okay in the Legendary Goku Event, but he's by no means a good unit. The 200% leader skill has helped him a bit, but it's not really enough to elevate him to top tier status. It is nice to see him have some use though.
