Landfall and Kicker return in Zendikar, with Party becoming a new mechanic, and something very interesting has now joined the Magic the Gathering Multiverse: Modal Double-Faced Cards (MDF). Similar to flip cards from Innistrad, these cards will have very different effects on each side; some have a different land type on each side, while some have an instant on one side and a land on the other.
