In this video, Jake discusses MTG Zendikar Rising Spoilers from September 4, 2020 (Day 4 of official Zendikar Rising Spoilers). There is a new, hot EDH and likely cEDH staple that has been printed, along with what players are calling "Bolt" lands. This is because you have to pay 3 life for the land to enter untapped, much like a Lightning Bolt. These modal, double-faced cards are new in Zendikar Rising, offering two sides on the card to choose from! Will any of these cards prove to be the best in EDH? Landfall and Kicker return in Zendikar, with Party becoming a new mechanic, and something very interesting has now joined the Magic the Gathering Multiverse: Modal Double-Faced Cards (MDF). Similar to flip cards from Innistrad, these cards will have very different effects on each side; some have a different land type on each side, while some have an instant on one side and a land on the other.
