The World Wrestling Federation - or WWF if you’re cool - went through a lot of changes in the 1990s, and one console saw the brunt of those changes through its own lifetime: the PlayStation. As such, I thought I’d take a look at the evolution of WWF games on PS1, from 1995 to 2000.
While none of these games are as good as WWF No Mercy (or WWF Wrestlemania 2000 let’s be honest), there’s a lot to be said for what Wrestlemania, War Zone, Attitude, and Smackdown did for wrestling video games as a whole. Not In Your House though, that was rubbish.
