Joysticks were amazing - and still are. They’re often not supported these days, but you can still find plenty of games that use them and that are made all the more special BY using them. I wrote an article about trying to come to terms with the death and sort-of rebirth of the joystick back in 2015. On deciding to do a video about joysticks - an excuse to play some games using said hardware - I rooted the article out, made some small edits, and turned it into this video about joysticks in video games and all the joy they bring. And sticks.

It ended up mainly PS1 footage; I just didn’t record a lot of the PC stuff I played for some reason.
