After finishing our investigation of Coachen’s office, we have to debate with Shih-na, who proves to already be more of a challenge than Lang ever was. I guess Shih-na’s powers of being one of near omnipotence that comes with being one of those extremely capable secretaries who pretty much does everything for their boss were amplified by the fact that she was in a place where one such secretary died.
Though honestly, between Lang and Palaeno, I think that the latter would be much easier to work with. Sure, Lang’s the kind of guy who would die for his subordinates, but when you’re his secretary you have to tote around hundreds of scrolls that all look the same and hand him the right one with the correct saying without any prep time; whereas Palaeno, on the other hand, is that one super chill boss who’ll pretty much let you do whatever you want as long as you help him put the straw in his juice box when he asks politely.
