As this video states, I am going to Pisa from tomorrow night. (Well, Sunday morning technically - bus leaves for the airport at midnight exactly). So videos will not be a thing for the entirety of next week. I MIGHT record something tonight to upload tomorrow, but don't count on it; at best it may be a "where I stand now" on UFO (that won't be pretty...), but I have packing to do and yeah.

Anyhow, onto the video, we encounter another fairy with the ability to dive! Funny how you need an upgrade to swin - I thought in the first level that it was just because of the dudes in the water, but nope!

I LOVE the flexibility of swimming in this game, both in pacing and in control. One big issue most people have with SMW is that the swimming is very slow, especially horizontally. Holding an item increases speed but removes all sense of control from it. The great thing about this game is that you have better control of where you are going, AND akin to 3D Mario games you have the ability to swim faster of your own accord. This gives you complete freedom to play the levels how YOU want, which is incredible. I personally prefer to take my time and explore thoroughly (hey, it got me rave time, don't knock it), but I am more than willing to up the pace if needed, and that is the beauty of this game's water mechanics.

Course, the levels themselves are also pretty neat. My computer didn't really like them though, no idea why. Hopefully it didn't show TOO much in the land of YouTubes, other than me pointing it out all the time.
