It's that time of year again! I'm back playing the next game in the Thief series: Thief: Deadly Shadows. I don't know the major overarching plot points yet, but Garret is still doing this thieving thing, and we love that for him. This version of the game features a lot of the same tools of the trade as before, with a couple changes based on gameplay and game engine limitations.
I did have to install a modpack to make this game in anyways playable, and this upload is proof of that. You see I actually tried playing this the day before, and it crashed so much that it hijacked my primary display and everything. It was not a great time. This do-over went a lot better though, with only one crash that wasn't reproduceable. Progress!
In any case we fly through the first mission, frolic around town and end off at the start of our next mission: robbing a church.
