It has been a while since I played this Extra at all. I ended up playing this now since I decided to add this category to my sign-up of Dodging Rain Competition ⑨ (which I am also hosting) and I was able to get this on day 1, which was pretty cool.
My Mugetsu cancel was very lucky and I was also lucky with the final items on Gengetsu and was able to go pretty much as high as possible before bombing the items.
The suicide item luck was pretty average. My first Gengetsu phase bullet clear was basically non-existant because I accidentally did more damage than I should've. And then also the section with the 2 bombs after the midboss, I took pretty safe, so there's still some things I can improve on. I'm going to try to beat ぴえとろ (Pietoro). It will be a tall order, but playing a bit more risky and/or getting better luck with suicide items should give me a fair chance...
