The first of the perfectionist Mario Kart Double Dash playthrough. This video is merely the Mushroom Cup on 50cc. That difficulty level just can't be challenging to me anymore. I've been playing this game for too long. Most of the time I'm miles ahead of all the CPU racers and I even lap some a second time! I will make sure to have relevant information in the descriptions of all the videos in this series.
Did you know that on 50cc, the side roads on the Luigi Circuit don't exist? Also, the main road is divided in half to prevent racers going in the opposite directions from hitting each other. Peach Beach can be tricky, but keep an eye on the tides. When the tide goes out, you can drive straight through the area away from the track to save some time. Baby Park is one of my favorite tracks in history due to how chaotic it can get, especially on the higher difficulties. Make sure to watch for obstacles and keep as close to the inside of curves as possible. For Dry Dry Desert, you can actually save a lot of time by driving off road in the shallow sand and using boosts to maintain your speed.
