0A video game in the genre of action adventure, developed and released by Midway for the PlayStation in 2000. Like the earlier Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, the project is a spin-off of a series of fighting games and serves as a prologue to the original 1992 game. Mortal Kombat: Special Forces has been presented twice at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo. The release of the game was delayed due to problems in the development process.
