The team at Got Friends bring us a retro inspired racer harking back to the heady early days of aviation racing, where it was man and machine versus the realm of the possible and the sane.
The GeeBee R3 Special is an aircraft that has its origins in the Remote-Control aviation world, as a flight of fancy if the original GeeBee racer had birthed a longer legacy. With it's sleek lines and outrageous performance, the aircraft was one of the first payware aircraft released for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Now the team have revisited their work and given it a major overhaul, incorporating many of the base sim's recent improvements as well as their own learnings as a solid development team.
Join me as I review an aircraft that would be perfectly at home on the set of the Rocketeer or an Indiana Jones movie!
