Welcome! Here we are taking my first look at Starpoint Gemini Warlords, the third Starpoint Gemini game, which is currently in Early Access. The Starpoint Gemini games are sandbox space RPGs in the vein of Freelancer, and Warlords adds a major new feature to the series in that you now can control stations, build fleets, and conquer new territory for your growing space empire. Since this is an Early Access game, bugs and incomplete features are to be expected.

In part 1, I dive into the game headfirst, which works out just fine as the tutorial does a good job of bringing me up to speed.
