My Ghost in the Shell Review (Anime)
2Ghost in the Shell takes place in Japan in a future in which almost everyone around the world has some sort of robotic enhancement. Some even have their full-body replace. Their soul is put inside a robotic brain. The Robotic brain is inside a robotic body that usually caters to a person's liking. So in other words, it's like a ghost in the shell. The show is about a special task force called Section 9. They are like the CIA or other agencies. They do special covert operations in Japan to take down seriously dangerous criminals. Daisuke Aramaki is the leader of this force, but he usually isn't one in the field. The next up in charge is the Major. Her real name is Motoko Kusanagi, but she rarely called by her name in the anime. Even though the anime is about a team, it revolves around her. It was original made as a movie, and it got a sequel called the Ghost in the Shell Innocence. (This is the real live-action movie with Scarlet Johansson. Please ignore that movie at all cost.) Then it was adapted into a tv show called Ghost in Shell Stand Alone Complex First and Second Gig. I have watched the movies and the tv series. In this video, I talk about the Ghost in the Shell anime, and I give my thoughts on it.
