NEED FOR SPEED HOT PURSUIT | FRAPS Uncompressed Footage Test [720p/30FPS]
Shalom!
Welcome back, dear Comrades - Internets and Virtual Cruisers...
It's ROTSECHSMAN here, after 8 months of hiatus. I am finally back on YouTube, which means I can spend a little extra time on making videos and eventually, interacting with you people a bit more for now. It's something that I have personally felt missing for quite some time and despite sincere attempts, I haven't been able to bring anything new, due to so-called "life". Yes, many changes happened; I've participated in new endeavours, many of which were undisputably thrilling and in some sense quite benefitial. It is neither the time nor the place to discuss private issuses however, so let's head straight to business, shall we...?
Even though comebacks are (or should be at least) celebrated with a 'bang' in theory, I decided to skip any sophisticated, yet for the time being unnecessary practice and do possibly the easiest (read: the laziest) thing instead. The video you're watching is a raw, that is, unedited and uncut archive gameplay footage of Cruise Mode in NEED FOR SPEED HOT PURSUIT (2010), captured with FRAPS back in 2018. The footage itself was primarly used as background basis for an introduction sequence called "TERMINATE", designed for my future video-walkthrough projects under the newly established 'R6' brand. As a fan of "The Terminator" franchise and a car enthusiast I came up with an idea of mixing the car cruise with a motive, that Terminator was undoubtedly recognized for, which is of course the Thermal Vision. Once the sequence was made I had no particular use of the footage, however I didn't want to eradicate it completely, as I had hopes of making a full version of the sequence extended to whole footage's playtime (hence the real-time played music in the background). Time has turned out merciless however and the plans for making the video were scrapped. Nonetheless, the footage remained and as of now a new purpose for it can be found.
Speaking of which, the video serves now the role of a test of uncompressed, full-sized FRAPS footage. This means no editing and extra cuts were made whatsoever!!! The main aim of this little experiment is to find out the ways YouTube operates with such material in terms of quality, compression, size and data bitrate. The reason behind it is rather trivial, as I just want to check if YouTube can actually allow such footage to be uploaded and by extension published without any problems. And as it turns out, it can... Odd idea, but interesting nonetheless.
Below you'll find all crucial tech-information about the footage:

That is all for now. From this place I want to thank every person, both old wolves and newcomers, who despite my lack of activity in recent time, still support this channel. Toda rabah ;) As for now, enjoy the "uncompressed" ride on Seacrest County Highways. 'Til the next time, Virtual Cruisers...
