NieR: Replicant ver 1.2247 Review - A Wonderful Game and a Worthy Remaster
66It's always nice to see an older game that you missed get a remaster, especially in a franchise you care a lot about. NieR: Replicant ver. 1.2247 is a remaster of the 2010 game of the same name, a game that didn't sell very well. While many people praised it for it's narrative and it's soundtrack, there were those that disliked its combat and other gameplay mechanics. It ultimately became a niche game that many people never ended up playing.
With the recent success of its sequel NieR: Automata, a remaster of NieR: Replicant seemed like the perfect opportunity to reintroduce it to the world. Featuring updated graphics and an improved combat system, this remaster looks to give the original NieR the second chance it rightfully deserves.
