Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II is an interesting game. While the game is considered among the greatest RPGs ever made, it's also a game that's plagued by technical issues, which resulted from ambitious planning and a short development period. In an effort to understand more about this conflicting legacy, I decided to do a deep dive into KOTOR II.


This is the first of a two part look at Knights of the Old Republic II. This video focuses on the development of this game and why it ended up the way that it did. The second video will take a look at the game's story, themes, and legacy, as well as why it is still so highly regarded despite its issues.
