Nintendo X Arcade1up: A Collaboration Would Be...
Nintendo has had a presence in the Arcades ever since its first release in 1973. While arcades themselves don’t seem to have as big of a presence, at least here in the US, they still maintain a larger presence in countries like Japan. Old dogs like myself also remember a time where they were big in the 80’s and 90’s. Arcade1up seeks to recapture that feelings by selling ¾ scale arcade units of classic arcade machines like Pac Man and Street Fighter 2. They’ve yet to capture the Nintendo license, thus arcade games like Donkey Kong, the VS series, and racers like the Cruis’n series and F-Zero AX have yet to be available in a home prefecture. Join me as I discuss this topic overall, as well as what I believe would be great Nintendo / Arcade1up units.
