The Castlevania video game series has some fantastic 2D entries, mid-tier 3D gaming, all with fantastic music. One underrated title for this series is the Gameboy’s Castlevania 2: Belmont’s Revenge. This video will go over why it is a superior sequel to the much-maligned Castlevania: The Adventure, as well as what makes this game so good. While its not perfect, for a game on the Gameboy, its quite excellent, and worth another playthrough on the Castlevania Anniversary Collection currently available on all major consoles.
