Welcome back everybody! To Let's play No Man's Sky Gameplay, part 10. WELCOME TO THE PATH-FINDER UPDATE! With the new update we will get a new type of vehicles for the exploring in the world of No Man's Sky now we can not only have an freighter that we can use as a docking station for our space ship, we can also get more space ships and dock them at the carrier but there is more! In the path finder updates we can now buy land vehicles! Those will add in exploring planets surface! As the land vehicles are faster way of exploring, as they won’t waste time for lading and taking off and also they won’t waste resources for taking off as each take off will require a large amount of fuel for the Space ship! But to get the lad vehicles we need to first get ourselves a working station for the new NPC for our space base in No Man's Sky, the Technician will help us in getting new upgrades for the land vehicles. In total there are fight now three new land vehicles in No Man's Sky the buggy, the hovercraft and the truck. Each of them will act in a different way and give us different possibilities! The Buggy is a great way for exploring around the planet and for harvesting resources, the truck is very slow but great at farming resources on the planets – from resources deposits. To add in to our exploring each of the vehicles can get a new upgrades, scanning device that is way more powerful then the personal scanner device we have on our character in No Man's Sky we can set the scanner to search for specific resources! We Also can in-stall a weapon system on the vehicle that will add in to its defences and if we wish to – attacking the sentinels! One of the final upgrades we can get for the land vehicle from the technician is a booster that will allow us to travel a bit faster. However we have build our base on the tropical planet in the Kabuto system – here most of the terrain is underwater so to the hover craft is the best way to travel around as the hovercraft will move above the ground and water. However we need to make more quests for the technician before we will be able to unlock the hovercraft. How there is a thing with the land vehicles in No Man's Sky as they will spawn only near your main base and only if you have made the underground garage. What does it means in the long run ? In the version of No Man's Sky I was using during the recording there was no possibility to build the vehicle bay at a different planet then your own with the base and currently you can build only one vehicle in No Man's Sky. In other words we need or to get the hovercraft as soon as possible or we need to move our base but if you move your main base to another planet then the old one will get destroyed. So starting the land vehicle base on a water planet will not be exactly the best of experience! However the buggy as the truck can travel underwater – they will slowdown very much comparing to the hover craft but you can travel underwater if you wish to in No Man's Sky using the land vehicle. In order to advance deeper in to the land vehicle science we need to gather an unknown new resource but where to look for it ? The technician said we need to use the scanner from the buggy but the scanner for now shows us nothing.
