Nox Plays... Cities: Skylines: Green Cities (Let's Play) | #30: Newton's Third Law of Motion
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Once we push towards growth, we set off a switch that triggers an impending death wave and vice versa. Thankfully, though, I did my research this time and am able to quickly take care of the death wave before it gets any more out of hand. In fact, many things seem to be going smoothly... perhaps too smoothly? Before I know it, half of Central Park is engulfed in flames, the fire department isn't doing anything to stop it, and I've turned off rain, so there isn't an additional act of nature that can stop it.
On the bright side of things, managing our metro and ensuring that everyone needing a ride gets it (and pays their dues) helps us accumulate a large sum of money, so much so that we're finally able to afford the Space Elevator. I suppose we'll see what effect the Space Elevator has on our city in the next episode!
