Nox Plays... Cities: Skylines: Green Cities (Let's Play) | #29: The Monorail Experiment
We continue with our monorail experimentation by placing stations and stops on every corner of our large avenues, thereby replacing the bus stops at those corners and, hopefully, reducing bus traffic. The end goal? Minimize the expanse of buses we just added in to clear up additional traffic and make transit even faster than before. The main problem with monorails is that they seemingly cause a lot of noise, so if we choose to expand our monorail lines, we'll have to do it on the outskirts of any low density residential district.
Additionally, we have another death wave upon us! I'll have to do some research before attempting to tackle it this time, but something tells me we shouldn't have so much residential, commercial, and industrial zoning set up. Let the bars rise!
