3The aftermath of the last raid has left some of our pawns fighting infections, and the general mood of the colony is very poor. To top things off, the cold snap is making our people cold, as we haven't prepared any sort of winter clothes. Should one more raid hit, I'm afraid to say that it may just be the end of our colony.
Luckily, some friends come around and offer us some advanced bionics - a spine and an arm for around 10k silver. We exchange our harvested parts for these bionics and quickly get to installing the arm on Purple. Poor Purple was missing a left finger and not having a good time in general, so we have to ensure that she's the first one decked out in complete bionics. After all, we owe it to her.
During our downtime, Marco continues working on research, and he finally finishes up the researched for powered showers and advanced toilets. Splendid! We now have working showers and toilets so that our people no longer have to do their duty in the public eye. This should improve the mood around the colony a slight bit and help our people stay cleaner.
