Nox Plays... Cities: Skylines: Green Cities (Let's Play) | #28: Greener Transit
The biofuel buses are an excellent and greener transit option that most other public transit available, but the problem with buses lies in the fact that they are incredibly low capacity. Although trams may be an excellent way to transport cims around our city, the metro offers a greener alternative to that. To see if it's truly viable, let's test it on one half of our Central Park area, shall we? At the moment, it seems that the metro stations need to be separated a bit more or placed at only the largest intersections.
On a more certain note, the death wave has seemingly ended, so we are back to our old productive selves. As for how long it will last, no one knows, but I'm hoping it's a while because the Space Elevator still seems to be a distant dream, and we could really use our tourism dollars to help bolster our new-and-improved public transit system. Of course, this is yet another one of those situation where only time will tell. Or, you know, working with the budget.
