Nox Plays... SimAirport (Season 2) | Let's Play/Gameplay | Ep. 1: New and Improved
6Welcome (or welcome back) to SimAirport! With a new update being pushed out today, I felt it time to bring back SimAirport and have a look at how the changes made affect gameplay. Initially, we receive more money than before, which is great because we have more purchases to make now. For starters, the runways are now modular, so different aircraft require different runway sizes on which to land. We also have multiple floors, and given that terminal access is restricted to floor 2 on large gates, we must use stairs and escalators to get there. Naturally, more expenses = more problems, and I can't wait to see how many ways I can fail this.

Although I'm not a fan of flying, I could very easily live in an airport. To build one of my own has been a dream of mine, but the existing airport-building games all lack... something. In comes SimAirport. Despite it being in early access and having tons of kinks that need working out, it's exactly what I've been looking for all along. The cartoony graphics are right up my alley, the management aspect is reminiscent of Prison Architect, and the UI is familiar enough that it's easy to just pick this game up and play it to your heart's content. Now, if only I could live at my airport...
