One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 playthrough Part 10 Final
0Oh god, it's over. It's finally over. And that last level was unstable as could be. It started doing the lag that killed one of the previous levels so frequently, that I actually got into the habit of pausing the level (didn't even know I could do that), and reloading the game to try to stop crashes. And it seemed to work, as I was able to beat the game - even if some cut scenes refused to load.
And it's those bugs alone that make me why away from fully recommending this game. I just can't recommend something in this condition. I really have the feeling it's just very bad memory leaks on the levels with too many different enemies. It just has a problem loading all the powers properly. And that last level was filled to the brim with different characters, the entire purpose of it was throwing as many things in as possible.
Overall, I'd consider this a mediocre game. Not judging it by the theme, not by One Piece. The story etc. is not impacting my view of the game, because I knew going in that I was not a fan of One Piece. I went in to this game looking for reasons to like Dynasty Warriors games. And I found some. I found reasons not to like them too, but i can absolutely see the appeal. Parts of this game were really good, and parts were painfully bad. It's an odd dichotomy. In the end, sure, if you like One Piece, if you like Dynasty Warriors, then this game is probably for you. For me, it has at least changed my opinion and made me want to get Hyrule Warriors.
