Pause Boosting | A Victory Lap on 7:9 -- Clustertruck Speedrun Strats
42Make no mistake: I'm not a fan of the "Pause Boost."
It's a recently discovered method for forcing a jump so high that it can negate all routing by launching completely over a level.
And for noability%, the category that chooses to run the game without the benefit of Portable Trucks and Levitation, it has the potential to undermine the whole reason the category exists.
That said, it's damned fun to do! Challenging! And if there's any argument to include them in noability%, it's 7:9. So, after taking a WR, (that wasn't WR by the end of the day) we celebrated by playing around with pause boosts in 7:9. And taking a trip to the "secret dev truck."
