For years, PCSX2 has had the capability of supporting an extra 96 MB of memory just like dev units, however there's never been an implementation of it... until very recently, where it was turned into a proper toggle. Games not programmed to detect additional memory won't be able to use it, however PCSX2's pnach cheat system can! This means that modders now have a space in memory that's 4x the size of normal game memory that's completely free to use.

This video showcases a partial (and very incorrect) Latin translation generated using Sly String Toolkit with codecaves at 0x6F00000 and 0x7F00000, the normal limit for a stock console's memory being at around 0x1F00000. At the end, I disable and then enable to show proof that it is actually reading from codecaves in the expanded memory.

This isn't a codecave, this is an uninhabited code planet!
