No Man's Sky - Odyalutai's Galactic Center
6I very recently learned that a secret 256th galaxy exists which can't be reached through normal gameplay as reaching the Galactic Center of the 255th galaxy sends you back to Euclid, the first galaxy.
However, it turns out that Euclid is ID 0 internally, making the 255th galaxy actually only the 254th galaxy. One of the newer updates patched out the ability to naturally reach Odyalutai, the 256th galaxy, but using an online service bot I was able to hitch a ride to the galaxy and set up a base.
I wanted to see what would happen if you reached the Galactic Center, as glitched 257th galaxies and beyond do exist, but are just the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc but with different names. It turns out, it just sends you to Hilbert, the 2nd galaxy. I guess the name and generation accept ID 255 but the Galactic Center thinks you're in Euclid.
If you want a way in, you can likely warp to my base - look for "A Dissonant Impossibility" in the base listings!
