This is an LNN of the earliest version of PCB. Perhaps the most unique demo among all the games, even more so than LLS. Unfortunately VPatch doesn't work with this version. While it does run with VPatch, it doesn't actually give you any of the benefits. There is no Stage Practice either. The stage portion after the first Alice midboss was really hard to figure out. There's alot of spam to worry about there. The hardest spell I'd say goes to Chen's last spell and Alice's midboss spell. There is a webpage that lists alot of the changes that were made throughout development and shows just how serious ZUN was with this game. It's quite admirable. If only he put in this level of effort nowadays ;_;

I'm pretty sure not all changes are listed in that collection of blogs, so I will list some of the things I've noticed myself, in case some aren't included in there.

★ Stage and boss pattern design is very different.
★ Alice has a unique midboss spell for Easy and Normal.
★ Stage 1 Boss, Stage 2 and Stage 3 theme sound slightly different.
★ There is no Stage Practice, while the option does show in the menu
★ Character art is different, still uses the EoSD-style where it has smaller dimensions and has gone through several changes in later demos.
★ Bosses do not follow your horizontal position and seem to move left/right at random.
★ Rank seems to still be a notable factor in this version, though I'm only basing that off of the fact that whenever I died, my cancels were higher, so likely it just changes bullet speed. Maybe to a lesser degree density as well.
★ Spell Card Bonuses are much lower. At least on Lunatic 1 graze increases the SCB by roughly 2,210 during the Stage 1 midboss, 3,250 during the Stage 1 Boss, 6,540 during Stage 2 midboss and 7,080-7,120 during Stage 2 Boss and Stage 3.
★ The Clear Bonus includes Power as a component.
★ Extends are based on score instead of fixed numbers of items (10m → 20m → 40m → 60m).
★ The second Alice midboss does not drop an extend item.
★ MarisaA's unfocused power (except for 48-63) is ridiculously strong (close to MoF MarisaB 3 Power tier).
★ ReimuB's unfocused power is very weak, likely due to her spread being much larger thus splitting her damage output.
★ In addition to newly spawned bullets not giving graze for a certain number of frames, in this version they don't have a hitbox either, resulting in funny safespots.
★ The Cherry mechanic is completely different: There are no borders, no Cherry+ and the CherryMAX caps at 400,000 on Lunatic. Additionally every 50,000 CherryMAX you obtain, will clear the screen of bullets and get turned into Star Items.
★ The Cherry Point does not become transparent when your character moves over it and instead slides away to slide back in from the other side of the screen. Mildly distracting...
★ As you see in the replay, there is no FPS counter for the replays themselves.
★ Replays don't give you any additional options for viewing like newer versions do.

When you view this replay, it will desync on Chen's midboss spell, because for whatever reason the game assumes the Cherry Point caps at 200,000, when it's supposed to cap at 400,000. This seems to change the RNG pattern on Chen's midboss spell so in my replay I basically died on the first wave. If you start this replay on Stage 3 first and then view the replay from Stage 1 or 2 afterwards, this will fix it. I don't know if the replay desyncs on other difficulties.
