So Operation Aveh is now in full swing, with Fei taking on Aveh forces along the Kislev Border, while Sigurd sends a distraction unit to occupy the other two forces. Meanwhile, Bart and Citan attempt to sneak into the Bledavik capital. While Fei's unit was initially overwhelmingly successful, Grahf's interference leads to the rest of his unit getting slaughtered. When we came to, everyone's dead, and Fei's supposedly missing. Meanwhile, while Bart and his team are attempting to fall back, a mysterious red gear suddenly appears, beats the crap out of Ramsus and Miang, then turns his attention to Bart and his Yggdrasil.

So far as I can tell, there's no way to beat the Red Gear pilot, even with the best equipment setups imaginable via the Kernel Menu. But I won't rule anything out with any degree of certainty until I've tried everything. Even if you can beat him, the game continues on as if he was triumphant anyways, and he doesn't drop anything.
