Prince of Persia is a platform game developed by Jordan Mechner and originally released by Brøderbund Software in 1989. The game takes place in ancient Persia, where you are a young prisoner who has one hour to get out of the dungeons. Prince of Persia has been done for the Apple II and then ported to countless platforms. In 2012, Jordan Mechner published the long believed lost source code of the original Apple II version on a GitHub repository.
