Slowmo after Roully ult is to check reset rng. The free ult is granted only AFTER the recovery animation of her blowing her gun. Once the reset is spent, you can cancel ult back into ult as soon as the 6th bullet fires. This is just basic Roully dps optimization tech, but thought I'd point it out cuz no one plays her anymore.

Dolly on inversion to spam ult and be able to hit the add and boss at the same time is super nice to kill it collaterally.

Anyways, other than reading his ingame movelist, the other things you need to do know are that the adds give him massive shields if the 3x3 aura makes contact. In these extreme low invest situations, you must avoid allowing the add to touch him AT ALL COSTS.

The other thing is his swoop attack can iframe his own stance change trigger. Which, considering his stance change is what reveals his cores, makes this the main mystery trial and error mald mechanic of the stage. This is why I wait until 7s left on the first weather before changing to gale. He swoops at x:45 and x:15, so try to avoid weather changes at those times.

With that in mind, there's actually like a bazillion weather routes you can take. This is the most freeform event boss we've had thus far, with even empower coming back into viability. This weather routing was actually optimized for bleed, which is what my main ran (6.2m). The second bird skill isn't used, otherwise he just never reaches thunderstorm stance.

Cloud stance is extremely dangerous to play in, and is the main argument for running empower. Flame shot is extremely lethal during cloud, especially if he combos it with swoop. Keep your healer skill ready and your eyes open to counter the potential burst combo, and make sure to overwrite at least one cloud with gale.

Otherwise, meteors are just free damage buffs, and lightning is just free crit buffs. Roully actually also managed to get 1m+ on cloud starter and weather cancel, cycling into meteor asap and extending it as long as possible, but it seemed less friendly due to requiring an Ariel empower opener to survive the first burst, and was just overall more rippy due to full thunder Attack Up stacks.
