Quick Bit - Never Alone | PC Gameplay & First Impressions
Fran sets out on a journey of discovery in the frozen tundra of Alaska, as she takes a look at the first game to be created with the Iñupiat (an Alaska Native people) in this beautiful puzzle platformer - Never Alone.
Never Alone (or Kisima Ingitchuna) has been developed as a collaborative project between Upper One Games (a subsidiary of Cook Inlet Tribal Council) and E-Line Media as a way of sharing the culture and stories of the Alaskan Native people.
You play as Nuna, a young Iñupiat girl, and her artic fox companion and you must set out on a journey to find the source of the eternal blizzard which threatens the survival of everything they have ever known. Both characters must work together to solve puzzles and progress, and the game can actually be played in both single player and as a local co-op.
As you work your way through the levels you will discover more about the Iñupiat people from both the narrator of the story and the video insights you unlock along the way.
