We return to look at Savage Lands 2018 gameplay after a period of troubled development which has see developers Last Bastion take over the reigns from Signal Studios. The new team includes the game's original game director from the classic era of Savage Lands, which we covered in our season 1 videos.

In this Savage Lands 2018 gameplay video, we jump into a new(ish) game to see the new art style, which is more psychedelic than before but already got a little hotfix nerfing to turn down the insanely high contrast of the first build!

We also see that since our last video, the game now requires you to claim two runes (from Lord Kruul and a red spirit wolf) to get off the first island, which means you'll need to upgrade your weapons and armour on Snowmere before you're able to take on the foes and claim the runes.
