Why Shibuya Incident Arc is better than Hunter x Hunter's Chimera Ant Arc

My name is Dj Milez, I'm an anime/manga channel. This video is a quick analysis on both Jujutsu Kaisen Shibuya Incident and HunterxHunter's Chimera Ant Arc and I prefer one over the other.

The Chimera Ant Arc is without a doubt regarded as one of the best arcs in all of Shōnen. Thematically speaking HunterxHunter's Chimera Ant is brilliantly written. The complexities of humans are explored, analyzing what extraordinary lengths many of our beloved characters in the series will do (or sacrifice) to accomplish their goals.

Jujutsu Kaisen's The Shibuya Incident is without a doubt a spectacle of an arc. The events that transpire from the Shibuya Incident causes a major shift in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe itself, and every major character involved undergo drastic changes, for better or for worse. In my humble opinion, the Shibuya Incident embodies what a high stakes war arc should be minus the fluff, hence the title of this video.

The Shibuya Incident hones in on typical Shōnen themes, however Gege Akutami strays from the typical outcomes expected from them. For starters, many characters are killed off in The Shibuya Incident, closing out plot lines that could have been explored in later arcs, but isn't intrinsically linked to the overall narrative's plot's progression. A battle of Will/stronger ideals in my eyes was what the purpose of the Shibuya Incident was all about.

HunterxHunters Chimera Ant arc's purpose attempts to answer one simple yet complex question. What does it mean to be human? Yoshirio Togashi presents this thematic element by brilliantly pinning the protagonist against the Chimera Ants these insect like humanoids.

Throughout the course of the arc, the Chimera Ants are shown consuming humans as a source of nutrition. Thus resulting in high intellect, quickly acquiring human traits and personalities. Which snowballs into developing a strong sense of identity and worth.

BOTH HunterxHunter's Chimera Ant Arc and Jujutsu Kaisen's Shibuya Incident Arc deserve all of the accolade and praise they receive. There's a reason why many consider them masterpieces in story telling, despite their flaws and I cant wait to see hear what you all have to say in the comments down below.
