Hey everyone! At the time of this recording, Shin Megami Tensei V has just been released worldwide and I thought it would be fun to make an unscripted first impressions video while I work on my official review. And since I’m not really good at unscripted content, I’m going to be joined by some friends who will be introduced in a moment. But before that, there are a few things I want to clarify. Firstly, this is going to be a mostly spoiler-free discussion. All the footage you’re going to be seeing is from the first main area of the game, with story cutscenes and boss battles edited out. We’re also going to be avoiding talking about the plot in detail. Only giving our general thoughts without discussing what happens in the story. Our thoughts on the gameplay, however, are completely on the table. So if you don’t want to hear any of that, then I highly suggest you stop watching the video and come back when you play the game yourself.
The other thing I want to mention is that I received a review copy of this game from Sega and Atlus. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed in this video are purely my own.
