Sonya Blade - Special Forces Commander - MK11 - Intros
3Sonya Blade debuted in the original Mortal Kombat in 1992. She was the first an only female character on the roster. Originally she was a military officer with the Special Forces, and got involved with the tournament while in pursuit of Kano. As the series when on, she helped establish a government agency dedicated to assessing and dealing with otherworldly threats. She became romantically involved with another Earthrealm fighter, Johnny Cage. In Mortal Kombat 11 the character Cassie Cage was introduced as the daughter of both Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage. Obviously, Sonya is a badass. She's been around since the start, and is a no nonsense soldier. Her friendship with Jax is another constant of the series, they're both officers in the Special Forces and comrades.
